Director, Asset Management and Project Controls

Location: Open to our European affiliates in Spain, Italy, Belgium or United Kingdom

Key Responsibilities:


•    Lead the PMO practice for the Global Engineering group that includes +30 project managers and more than 100 projects annually in +30 global locations. Single point of contact for the Investment, Global PMO and Finance Firmenich’s teams  
•    Provide asset management leadership across business divisions, through unified methods and processes to enable strategic alignment, operational efficiency and synergies 
•    Lead the creation of multi-year strategic and business plans. Facilitate yearly CapEx budget discussions among Supply Chain executives and key stakeholders 
•    Develop and deploy Global Engineering methodologies, processes and standards. Lead the last stages of Planview PPM implementation in the department 


We value:


•    Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Process, Mechanical). 
•    Experience (15 years +) in strategic and operations long-term planning, PMO operations and CapEx management in a multi-cultural and cross-functional matrix organization
•    Corporate strategy/consulting experience supporting Supply Chain operations highly valued 
•    Excellent in leading PMO processes and systems implementation to support organization’s current transformation towards more agile, flexible and faster conceptualization and delivery
•    Used to interdisciplinary stakeholders’ complexity and ambiguity: capable to drive ideas towards actionable projects and results while also considering risks
•    Exposure to CxO members to create, present, defend and prioritize strategic discussions
•    Proficient in English. French would be a plus
