Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the clients’ objectives, develop commercial strategy, implement through account plan
  • Develop successful working relationship with (new and existing) clients, establish Firmenich as key partner to obtain briefs for profitable business
  • Identify business opportunities, decision factors and success criteria and define action plan accordingly
  • Define accurate pricing and margin parameters for each project, according to guidelines, and enter properly all project information in project management system according to established rules (incl. regulatory) (including project models rules in PE)
  • Work with Commercial Director and Fine Fragrance development community in Singapore and Shanghai, to implement category and account strategies
  • Manage products life cycle with MDM, demand planning, customer care and supply chain to ensure high level of service to clients and good working practices for Firmenich (such as good forecasts)
  • Build the account sales budget annually, monitor sales and profitability versus objectives, provide input to quarterly Sales forecast

 

We value:

  • Min. Bachelor degree or equivalent (business administration, economics, marketing, science)
  • At least 6 years of experience in Fragrance or FMCG industry in sales, fragrance development or marketing
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop client relationship successfully
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to clients
  • Ability to develop strategic plans, define, prioritize and implement action plans
  • Good team player, seen as a strong partner by working with multiple cross affiliate and functional teams
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Good spoken and written English and Thai
  • Excellent decision making and entrepreneurial spirit
