The Associate Scientist is responsible for providing timely and effective tech support to our Science and Research team at Princeton, NJ with a focus on the next-generation flavor and fragrance delivery system development and polymer colloid synthesis.

Key responsibilities
- Support the development of novel sustainable flavor and fragrance delivery systems.
- Carry out polymer synthesis, organic synthesis, and assembly of biomaterials and biopolymers.
- Conduct systematic experimental design and formulation optimization.
- Support and coordinate performance evaluations of materials and delivery technologies, including stability, analytical, and sensory application testing.
- Author technical reports and present technical results to internal and external audiences.
- Comply with company procedural guidelines, laboratory procedures, and safety programs.

You bring
- MS in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Colloid Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field, or BS in related field with 2+ years of experience in polymer/organic synthesis in an academic or industry R&D laboratory.
- Experience in the polymer colloid synthesis, natural polymer functionalization, organic synthesis, and/or physical/covalent crosslinking.
- Familiarity with NMR, LC-MS, DLS, TGA, DSC, GPC compound/polymer characterization.
- Results interpretation based on good understanding of statistical analysis and structure-property relationships.
- Self-starting and collaborative individual with good written and oral communication and presentation skills.
