Sales Assistant, Flavors-Anaheim, CA

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates, executes and manages follow up for all customer pre-sales needs including sample requests, regulatory and technical documentation, pricing & plant trials
  • Handles daily customer inquiries, provides necessary information and interfaces with the customer in partnership with the Account Manager
  • Enters MDM requests to set up new customers and materials in the system as well as for data maintenance
  • Maintains all core supplier agreements, contracts, rebates, and confidentiality agreements
  • Requests price quotes from pricing office, prepares price letters and effectively maintains price files
  • Partners with Pricing Office on annual Price Increase process
  • Supports account manager with functions including customer visits, correspondence, reports, budget and demand planning.  Assists in the preparation of customer presentations
  • Communicates regularly with account managers and internal departments, keeping them informed of customer activity
  • Ensures all required SAP data is accurate and maintained on an ongoing basis
  • Participates and works on special projects as needed




  • High School Diploma Required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of related administrative/sales support/customer care experience required,  preferably in the food or flavor industry
