Process Improvement Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Responsible for the technical support of a multi-steps process to ensure successful commercialization of new products and continuously improve the existing processes and products (quality and yield).
  • Ameliorate existing processes; research, develop and install new equipment.
  • Data collection, interpretation, report writing and presentation to senior colleagues and management.
  • Continual evaluation of equipment and processes to ensure both efficiency and quality remain high.
  • Provide technical oversight to all first time manufacture and nonconforming products.
  • Provide manufacturing instructions and responsible to ensure safety, quality and efficiency.

 

Requirements:

  • Min. of BS in Chemical Engineering, Process/Mechanical Engineering with and aptitude and interest in chemistry.
  • Min. 2 years of experience in Pilot Plant or Production environment with proven work experience in process engineering.
  • Experience in the Flavor, Food Ingredients, or Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Experience with extrusion or microencapsulation or hard candy-technology is strongly desired.
  • Strong analytical thinker with interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills required.
