Account Manager, Flavor Sales - Phoenix, Arizona

We currently have an immediate opportunity for an ACCOUNT MANAGER to join the SALES TEAM, part of our NORTH AMERICA FLAVOR DIVISION. Position can be based in Utah, Arizona, Colorado, California or Idaho.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for promoting and selling a variety of flavor and delivery systems to various customer(s)
  • Assists in developing sales strategies to satisfy business objectives and maximize sales opportunities
  • Builds trusted relationships at client and internally with team
  • Leverages marketplace knowledge to position for new business opportunities
  • Leverages subject matter experts with client
  • Ensures that administrative functions such as itineraries, expenses and call reports, etc., are accurately maintained and adhered
  • Provides ongoing customer service and follow-up to ensure the timely shipment of orders
  • Issues comprehensive action reports to enable successful execution of projects
  • Works with legal and corporate compliance on corporate agreements, standards and policies, i.e., contractual agreements
  • Monitors sales performance and A/R for respective territory

  • Bachelor’s degree with related food and beverage experience 
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of flavor, food ingredient  sales experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite Applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Approximate travel up to 60% depending on location
