DRT America - Plant Engineering Manager
Position Summary:
-Manage the day-to-day Maintenance and Asset Management activities to produce Rincon Fine Chemicals safely and efficiently. Manage the Capital Investment plant portfolio aligned with the global PMO.
Position Responsibilities:
-Responsible for site asset care as it relates to ensuring high reliability at the lowest cost through the implementation of world class Reliability Centred Maintenance principals.
-Provide daily leadership to maintenance technicians and site instrumentation technicians.
-Guarantee and foster compliance with QHSE policies for all maintenance personnel. Establish safety culture and tackle specific actions to ensure health prevention during maintenance activities. Contribute to plant cleanliness.
-Ensures implementation of weekly work plan into Maintenance schedule with required PM tasks and corrective measures, assign resources and ensure manpower is properly utilized.
-Responsible for implementation of reliability tools including vibration, thermography, oil analysis, and failure root cause analysis.
-Implement and maintain asset lubrication program and laser alignment.
-Ensure equipment repairs are made in a timely manner.
-Ensure good housekeeping procedures and practices, as well as trouble-shooting assistance.
-Ensure compliance to corporate safety and environmental policies.
-Investigate and implement predictive maintenance technologies to improve reliability.
-Provide input into the selection of new equipment and instrumentation to Process Engineering.
-Manage outside contractors working as maintenance support during shutdowns.
-Manage MRO supplies inventory.
-Development and implementation of capital projects for the site.
-Lead the Automation team with the support from the Process Engineering group in defining the vision for the automation strategy for the site.
-Control OPEX and CAPEX budgets for Maintenance and Projects.
-Collaborate with other plants of the Ingredients network to report and share best practices through periodic reports of pre-defined KPIs.
Position Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technical discipline preferred.
-Preference for experience working in a PSM environment.

-Demonstrated strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels in the organization.
-Demonstrate the ability to operate and understand computer-controlled process equipment and programs that used in process control.
-Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
-Excellent understanding of production documentation system, production control
-FR Clothing when inside the plant along with other PPE
Physical Requirements:
-Climb stairs and ladders.
-Ability to manage several time critical tasks simultaneously.
-Ability to work and be effective with little supervision.
-Able to travel. Requires ability to operate personal computer, telephone, fax, and copy equipment. Requires ability to walk throughout warehouses and production areas.
