POSTION SUMMARY


Pinova Incorporated is currently seeking a S&OP Specialist for our Brunswick, Georgia facility. This role is responsible for monitoring plant safety and security for the site, issuing visitor badges, directing visitors to their proper destinations and providing exceptional customer service.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Safety/Security Responsibilities:  

  • Serves as first point of contact for the company and handling control of people while visiting or working.  
  • Monitors plant safety and security; monitors all personnel and vehicles entering or leaving the plant.  
  •  Monitors plant internal radio broadcasts  
  • Coordinate communications in the event of an emergency (injuries, fire, power outages, environmental, etc.)  
  • Greet employees, customers and visitors, receives and registers vendors/truckers and assigns badges when necessary. Announces visitors and directs them to their proper destination.  
  • Provide safety training/briefings to visitors  
  • Maintains contractor safety training/testing and sign in/out log  

 

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Serves as switchboard operator, answering and transferring multiple calls on multiple lines.  
  • Performs clerical work to support Forest Resources/Accounting.  
  • Performs quality inspections of stump wood.  
  • Inputs stump wood data and accounting Data into database.  
  • Prepares, reviews and forwards daily bill of ladings, scan weights and Excel reports.  
  • Coordinate with accounting and Forest Resources to resolve discrepancies.  
  • Attach invoices to payables for Accounting.  
  • Input all sawdust tickets for all sawdust vendors and forward weekly logs to appropriate employees. 

 

Shipping & Receiving Support:

  • Weigh in all cargo vehicles and tankers  
  • Coordinate loading with appropriate work area  
  • Review bills of lading and ensure Certificate of Analysis sheets are accurate for cargo Trucks from shipping  
  • Create deliveries, bills of lading and Certificate of Analysis using the SAP Automated System for tank car shipments, containers, and over the road trucks.  
  • Research and resolve discrepancies involving off-grade products  
  • Distribute daily receipt/shipment paperwork to Accounting  
  • Maintain open order reports  

 

REQUIRMENTS

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.  
  • Must be able to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.  
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel and Outlook  
  • Previous SAP experience is a plus  
  • Previous DOT Training is a plus  
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, listening and written.  
  • Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others.  
  • Must have ability to interface with diverse teams, including vendors, management, operators, maintenance, engineering, and colleagues from other production facilities.  
  • High degree of personal responsibility and initiative is required. Must possess a high level of integrity as well as excellent organizational skills.
