An ideal candidate is a scientist trained in food science with experience in evaluation and establishing value proposition of new discoveries from innovation program. A broad-based experience in studying/understanding sensorial functionality of various food and flavor ingredients in complex food and beverage systems is a plus. Ability to work with a wide range of experts and in a large team environment is desired.

Your key responsibilities
- Manage innovation project streams or full projects working with high caliber scientists from different streams
- Screen new taste compounds and map out several parameters to help with stage-gate process
- Manage commercialization of approved taste ingredients through extensive stability and application testing.
- Work with creation community to optimize formulations for cost benefits.
- Demonstrates creativity and in-depth knowledge in prototype/concept development.
- Works closely with technical marketing to ensure that the appropriate package is prepared for the launch of the product or concept.

You bring
- Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Food Science/Food Technology or related science is required
- Master’s with 2+ years or Bachelor’s with 5+ years experience in a Research / Innovation team
- Experience in new food and or flavor ingredient development is highly desired
- Good sensory and olfactive skills in addition to creative and cognitive skills
- Knowledge of commercial food/beverage processing, sensory testing, and use of functional ingredients is a plus
- Ability to work as a part of a team with minimal oversight
